What can I expect from Pregnancy Yoga?

These Pregnancy Yoga Classes aim to increase a sense of proprioception, calm the nervous system, support movement throughout pregnancy and prepare for birth and post natal recovery.  At Beetlebum we want women to feel confident throughout pregnancy and trust in their bodies & intuition. These classes also provide a sense of community to all expectant mothers as they embark on their journey into motherhood together.

Yoga is a practice developed over millenia with the purpose of connecting mind, body and soul. This is achieved through a number of techniques such as;

Mantra

Meditation

Asana

At Beetlebum we use a mix of techniques and styles to support our clients to better understand themselves, and increasing awareness within bodies, and their nervous system, to better regulation and connect with their innate intuition.

We discuss with our client the benefits of menstrual cycle awareness and how these principles can increase knowledge of self and self actualisation. We also discuss how movement & mobility practices can support the nervous system and hormonal health, as well as teaching breathwork tools & techniques to take into your daily life to help you tackle the every day.

We work with clients on a 1:1 basis as we understand everyone is different and unique, and as such their practice will be unique to them. This bespoke offering allows us to better understand the individual and create a programme designed specifically  them.
