What Exactly Is Reiki?
Let’s start with what Reiki is not, for example it’s not just a bunch of crystal waving hippies tripping out and touching each other….not specifically anyway….(each to their own right). Reiki is by definition a healing technique with is based on the principle of channeling energy. Kind of like Jedi powers (otherwise referred to as ‘The Force’) except that instead of using them to smite your enemies and take over the galaxy (again…each to their own…just saying) you use your powers for healing the mind body & soul of other sentient beings. The most commonly practiced type of Reiki is traditional Usui Reiki, but there are several other techniques that I know of. I myself practice both traditional Usui Reiki and Rainbow Reiki™. They are in principle the same, both drawing from the Universal Life Energy (which I will cover in different FAQs) and healing through the transferal of this energy (both with and without the aid of touch/physical contact). Rainbow Reiki™ however is really made for the 21st Century.

Practices like the ‘Marayana Sayi™’ (Full Body Rainbow Reiki™ Treatment) are said to be 17x more powerful than the traditional Usui method and also more time efficient. So as well as being perfect for well being, stress management, relaxation & much more (we will cover some of that in a moment), Rainbow Reiki™ treatments minimally disrupt the time demands on today’s busy lifestyles.

Reiki is also used for karma cleansing for both people & buildings. A Reiki practitioner can also successfully harmonise many conditions such as hip/back/back problems, phobias, negative habits (e.g. smoking), allergies, food intolerance’s & sports injuries. You name it, you can pretty much ‘throw Reiki’ at it, with some rather interesting results…

Remote Reiki - Is it effective?

Remote Reiki is the ultimate modern day Reiki. Essentially what any Reiki practitioner does is ‘attune’ to become a conduit to administer Reiki, but for Remote Reiki it requires a little more training…the energy is everywhere, you just direct to a person, place or thing…a bit like tuning in a radio. This form of Reiki (as the name would suggest) is used in conjunction with technology, for example by carrying out sessions via Skype.

It is practiced in conjunction with traditional Usui Reiki, however Walter has expanded on this method & rediscovered techniques that are more in tune with the demands of modern living.

Rainbow Reiki™ can be used to successfully help to harmonise many conditions such as hip/ back/ neck problems, phobias, negative habits (e.g. smoking), allergies, food intolerance’s & sports injuries. Not only can Reiki & Rainbow Reiki™ have very positive effects on individuals, it is also used for things like energy & karma cleansing on buildings (this will be spoken about at length in future videos).
